How to Use Meta Muse Outside the US (2026): What Works
Muse only works in the US and Canada. Here's what happens if you sign up from elsewhere, and the real ways to use Muse and its model today.
Right now, you can't officially use Meta's Muse agent outside the US and Canada. Signing up from another country puts you on a waitlist. But you can still use Muse Spark, the model behind Muse, through Meta AI or on this site — and join the waitlist to get told when Muse opens near you.
What happens when you sign up from another country
We tested this ourselves. Using a UK connection, we signed up with a real email and birthday — no VPN tricks, no fake details. After the sign-up form, Muse sent us here instead of into the app:
The message is clear: "Muse isn't available in your country or region yet. We'll let you know when it's available to you." Tapping the button joins the waitlist — it doesn't unlock access.
Your options today

What about using a VPN?
Some people try signing up with a US VPN and a new account. We don't recommend it, and here's what we found when we looked into it.
Meta itself has warned against this. Replying to a user on Threads, Meta's official account said a US VPN "doesn't make it officially available" in your country — you'd be "bypassing the geo restriction, risking your account."
It's also more involved than just a VPN. We tested signing up with a fresh browser and a real US IP address. Instead of the waitlist, we reached an age-verification step asking for a credit card — charged $1, refunded in 5-7 business days. Entering a non-US card produced a generic error, not a clear "declined" message. Card verification usually checks that your billing address matches the card issuer's records, so a card without a US billing address may not pass this step, regardless of your IP address. We only tested this once, and Meta hasn't explained how this check works — but it suggests a US VPN alone isn't enough.
Given the account risk Meta itself describes, we're not walking through the steps here.
Will Muse come to your country?
Meta hasn't given a timeline. Its own account has said there's "no timeline yet for other countries."
